Want to know who we are? Here are our highlights!

Belvedere Mead prides itself on having a team of individuals whose unique expertise compliments the team as a whole.  All our client facing staff have previously worked in claims handling roles; some are professionally qualified, some are legally qualified, some have senior managerial experience and many have decades of experience handling claims.

Elaine Mason ACII, Chartered Insurance Practitioner

Lauren has worked in the insurance claims profession since 2014 primarily handling casualty claims. Lauren joined Belvedere Mead in 2021 after a short break in her career to bring her children into this world. Lauren’s career has involved working for organisations for both claimants and carrier sides of the claims chain and has included supervising less experienced staff members.

Jane Whitcher, Financial Controller

Jane is the sensible one amongst us. Originally running a claims team in a large UK motor insurance  company,  she followed her husband to the Caribbean and qualified as a bookkeeper.  On her return to the UK she joined Belvedere Mead and is responsible for all things financial whilst also assisting with the other operational responsibilities we have as an employer.

Paul Mason, Director

Paul has supported Elaine throughout her career and was a key founding partner when Belvedere Mead was formed in 2010.  Paul remains a shareholder and corporate director of Belvedere Mead but these days Paul’s role is more akin to that of a Non-Executive Director position.
