Lindsay brings to Belvedere Mead a wealth of experience in handling claims and providing legal advice.
She graduated from the University at Kent (including a year at the University of Bordeaux) with an honours degree in English and French Law. Thereafter, she undertook her solicitor training contract with Bond Pearce LLP, qualifying in 1997.
In 1998, Lindsay obtained a Masters from King’s College London in Medical Ethics and Law. Her interest in these areas led her to specialise in medical law and work in-house at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, advising on various medico-legal and medico-ethical issues including those relating to governance, data protection, consent, disclosure, police enquiries and coroner’s inquests. She also handled clinical negligence claims, liaising with NHS Resolution, panel solicitors, counsel and medical experts.
In 2002, Lindsay joined Reynolds Porter Chamberlain LLP where she managed a portfolio of malpractice defence claims being pursued against a variety of different client organisations. After a short career break, Lindsay returned to work as a self-employed consultant reporting on pre-action claims for clinical negligence brought against the NHS.
In 2017, Lindsay joined Belvedere Mead where she enjoys handling a diverse professional indemnity claims portfolio with a keen eye for claim progression and early settlement.
